Zomato’s mission is to create happier everyday lives. Started in 2008, Zomato offers services like restaurants discovery and reviews, home delivery of food, online table reservation, and digital payments when dining out. It also works with restaurant partners to provide tools that enable them to engage and acquire more customers while empowering them with a last-mile delivery service and a one-stop procurement solution – Hyperpure, for ingredients and kitchen products.

Apart from this, Zomato has been focusing on providing transparent and flexible earning opportunities to its delivery fleet, and contributing towards a more sustainable society through its non-profit entity Feeding India.

BRAND GUIDELINES

KEY LEADERSHIP

Deepinder Goyal is the Founder of Zomato. He leads product development along with overseeing strategy and business expansion.

Prior to founding Zomato in 2008, Deepinder worked as a management consultant with Bain & Company. He holds an integrated master’s degree of technology in mathematics and computing from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.

Akshant Goyal is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Zomato. He has been key in the company’s growth for almost six years, and played a pivotal role in Zomato’s successful IPO in July 2021.

Prior to joining Zomato, he was the co-founder and CFO of a fin-tech startup, and an investment banker at Kotak Mahindra Capital. Akshant holds a bachelor’s degree of engineering in computer science from the University of Delhi and a post graduate diploma in management from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.

Akriti Chopra is the Co-Founder and Chief People Officer at Zomato. Akriti has donned many hats in her decade long journey with Zomato and has been instrumental in setting up and scaling our Legal and Finance teams in her previous role as CFO.

Prior to joining Zomato, she worked with PwC for three years in the Tax & Regulatory practice. She holds a bachelor’s degree course in commerce from Lady Sri Ram College, Delhi University and is an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Albinder Dhindsa is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Blinkit – our quick-commerce business. He founded the erstwhile Grofers in 2014, and pivoted to Blinkit in 2021 with the aim to provide express delivery service pan India. Prior to Grofers, he served as the Head of International Operations at Zomato.

Albinder has a master’s degree in business administration from Columbia Business School and a bachelor’s degree in technology from the India Institute of Technology, Delhi.

Rakesh Ranjan is the Chief Executive Officer of Zomato Food Delivery business. He has played multiple roles in his 6-year stint at Zomato, including that of leading the charge at Hyperpure and heading new business initiatives.

Prior to Zomato, Rakesh worked at the Boston Consulting Group, across TMT, Industrial Goods and Public sectors. He holds a post graduate programme degree in finance and marketing from the Indian School of Business as well as a bachelor’s of engineering degree in electronics from Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology.

Rishi Arora is the Chief Executive Officer of Hyperpure – Zomato’s ingredient and eco-friendly packaging supply platform. Before taking the Hyperpure charge, Rishi, as Co-Founder of Blinkit, led supply chain, strategy and growth verticals across his 9+ years building the quick-commerce platform.

Prior to this, Rishi worked with Wipro Technologies and UBS. He holds a masters in business administration degree from IE Business School in Spain.
